Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as the Airborne Program Manager within the High Energy Laser (HEL) Product Line, who is driven, dedicated, collaborative, and innovative, to lead one of its most challenging and exciting programs that is pushing the boundaries of HEL technology. You will be responsible for the cost and schedule execution of a firm fixed price, classified High Energy Laser, Science & Technology program. You will lead cross-functional teams and oversee the development, test and delivery of a High Energy Laser on an airborne platform. This role requires daily interface with all functions, factory personnel, customers, and management in communicating program progress, financial status, issues, risk, and opportunities. You will be responsible for growing the business, including the capture ECPs, leading the campaign level effort for airborne HEL, and supporting long term capture of potential production efforts. As this program is developing a weapon system, you will also be responsible for partnering with EHSS to ensure the program team operates with safety in mind and follows all required safe operations. This role requires frequent, direct interfacing and briefing of program status with the highest levels of both internal (LADS/RTX) and external (United States Military, 3-star level) customers. Ability to confidently present complex problems, mitigation paths and financial results is required. What You Will Do Partner at multiple levels within enterprise to ensure execution success
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, communicate status and develop future opportunities
Communicate clearly to remove barriers to execution
Provide accurate financial forecasts and EAC required program statuses up to the LADS leadership team
Attract, retain, supervise, and develop talent and a cohesive team
Meet Airborne HEL AOP metrics as flowed down by the HEL Product Line Lead
Expected to support domestic and travel as needed

Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of experience is required
EVMS Certified Experience with proposal activities
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer Experience with High Energy Laser weapon systems
Experience with IPDS, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Risk & Opportunity Management
Program Management level 4 certification or ability to obtain within a year
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), (TINA) and/or other Government Procurement regulations
Experience developing/proofreading program documentation to include contracts, CDRLs, SOWs, GFE/CFE lists.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
