Job Overview:

Thank you for considering this opportunity! We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Facility Manager to lead our maintenance operations at a successful plastics injection molding manufacturer. This position is critical in ensuring that all production and facility equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and optimized to support seamless plant-wide operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, knowledge of plastics equipment, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Department Collaboration: Build strong relationships across departments to support plant-wide operations and enhance process equipment performance.
Maintenance & Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment, including molding machines, HVAC systems, pumps, chillers, air compressors, and more.
Work Scheduling & Prioritization: Schedule, assign, and prioritize work orders and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
Training & Development: Lead and oversee training programs for new skilled team members to ensure knowledge transfer and technical proficiency.
Inspection & Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and ensure maintenance work is performed safely and meets quality standards. Step in to coordinate complex maintenance tasks as needed.
Equipment Troubleshooting: Safely troubleshoot and resolve performance, maintenance, and reliability issues on molding machines and other production-related equipment.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain building utilities, conduct regular inspections, and perform tests using various instruments to ensure proper functionality of the facility's systems.
Preventive Maintenance Management: Keep meticulous PM records on machines and ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

Experience in Plastics Manufacturing: Strong knowledge of industrial plastics equipment in a manufacturing setting required, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining molding machines and related equipment.
Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee our skilled maintenance team.
Preventative Maintenance: Significant experience in developing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Production Experience: 5-year minimum in manufacturing setting in production maintenance and facilities maintenance.
Work Ethic & Reliability: Commitment to safety, good work ethics, and attendance, along with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.


Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
Benefits Package: Includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, referral bonuses, and quarterly bonuses.
Relocation: Full package provided per the needs of you and family
