PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Mortgage Servicing Special Loan Administration at our Irving, Texas service center. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and monitor the special servicing process in mortgage servicing through continuous tasks of portfolio management. Ability to handle all aspects of various loans, including, but not limited to, adjustable rate to fix rate conversions, partial releases, subordinations, SCRA, modifications CEMA processing, balloon reset mortgages to ensure they are accurately set up and serviced according to client, agency, and investor guidelines and in a timely manner. In addition, responsible for the monitoring and processing of all aspects of the loan servicing and auditing of Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) Loan Products to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with all government and contractual guidelines.

Meet member expectations related to Special Loan Servicing. Activities include, but are not limited to, loan modifications, estate accounts, revocable trusts, ARM administration, HELOC administration, credit bureau reporting, partial releases, SCRA processing, recasts, CEMA processing and balloon loans.

Perform all levels of Quality Control for HELOC loan servicing and audits.

Monitor and ensure all team-assigned tasks are being completed in an accurate and timely fashion in accordance with established standard levels of service.

Complete daily, weekly, monthly ARM indexes, updates, validates and verifies on the servicing platform.

Coordinate internally with impacted business areas to manage data and downstream member experiences.

Complete payment adjustments and monitoring of ARMS, Employee Rate discounts, and other special loan products.

Effectively communicate in verbal and non-verbal formats with various levels of internal stakeholders to build and maintain partnerships in the organization.

Document all member contact thoroughly and accurately through the utilization of the mortgage loan servicing system MSP.

Conduct root cause analysis reviews and problem solve for internally and externally raised loan issues as assigned; address identified issues by conducting loan-level research on presented issues and provide a sound resolution through various forms of communication.

Monitor daily reporting, operational controls, and procedures to ensure that regulatory, financial, operational and reputational risks are properly mitigated.

Qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and/or experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform essential role functions.

A minimum of four (4) years in a financial institution with direct mortgage servicing experience is required.

Strong working knowledge of servicing HELOC loan products

Strong BKFS (Black Knight/MSP) skills and knowledge gained through practical experience is required. Including Consumer Loan Workstation.

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with an ability to review complex issues and make sound decisions is required.

Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written skills, ability to present performance data, comfortable interfacing at all levels of the organization.

Solid organizational skills with an emphasis on project coordination activities.

Strong business problem resolution skills in combination with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently collaborate effectively with investors and internal business units on complex issues and analysis.

Progressive conflict resolution skills.

Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to master all available technology/software applications standard to the department.

Possess a wide degree of creativity and independence and the ability to handle multiple priorities in fast paced work environment.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
