What you'll do:
Maintain daily reporting while visiting jobsites to ensure full compliance in the field is maintained
Perform all task associated with achieving production goals following customer contract, guidelines, and specifications and proper following of procedures of each process
Perform work tasks that involve visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, according to contract requirements stipulated by our customers
Oversee excavation to ensure crews and subcontractors are following damage prevention policy to meet all safety, quality, and production goals according to rules, regulations, and standards set by the company
Operate different electronic detection equipment, to locate and mark under ground facilities within prescribed accuracy limits
Read and interpret utility maps / prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities
Perform light excavation with a shovel, to expose buried utilities when necessary
Use laptop computer or other devices to receive and document audits along with pre-excavation inspections
Implement training sessions related to damage prevention and damage investigations
Operate company vehicle in a safe manner, and maintain professional appearance
Be able to perform manhole entry using assigned equipment and safety devices

Who we are looking for:
At least 18 years old
Authorized to work in the United States for this company
Currently have valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
3+ years of experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
You are proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc), Google applications, and/or other construction related software aplications
Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
