About this Role:
The Senior Manager, Vulnerability Management will oversee the implementation and maintenance of our vulnerability management program, ensuring it aligns with company IT standards and best practices. You will lead a team responsible for identifying, analyzing, and remediating vulnerabilities across various platforms, including cloud, production environments, and endpoints. Your expertise in Qualys will be crucial in managing and optimizing our vulnerability assessment processes. You will work closely with various teams and operating units to ensure timely remediation and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities, using automated solutions to verify that appropriate security measures are in place.

What You'll Do:
Lead the vulnerability management team in developing and executing vulnerability management methodologies and procedures.

Manage and optimize application and infrastructure vulnerability management solutions, particularly with Qualys including VMDR for ServiceNow.

Oversee the patching processes and related technologies (e.g., SCCM, Qualys, PowerShell, Nessus).

Establish and track metrics and trends for vulnerability management functions.

Coordinate and manage projects or solutions to ensure goals and objectives are met within specified time frames.

Develop, recommend, and implement necessary improvements and changes to the vulnerability management program.

Schedule and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, and reconfigurations.

Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for system administration and appropriate use.

Foster strong working relationships with teams responsible for vulnerability management and patching.

Provides reporting to IT management on SLAs and various other reports

Supervises daily operations of the Vulnerability Management team, analyzes workload, determines work priority, assigns duties and oversees work progress and staff development.

Researches, identifies and recommends industry best practices for solving business problems.

Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures including change management.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree

7-10 years of experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related security domain.

Minimum 3 years in supervisory role.

Demonstrated experience with IT Service Management and IT Asset Management systems.

Expertise with Qualys

Expertise with VMDR for ServiceNow.

Experience with vulnerability management methodologies and procedures.

Familiarity with patching processes and related technologies (e.g., SCCM, PowerShell, Nessus).

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

ITIL Foundation - preferred

Security + - preferred

GSEC - preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Intermediate/Advanced level experience with service delivery methodologies (ITIL).

Intermediate/Advanced level experience with Endpoint Protection.

Intermediate/Advanced level experience in automation and scripting (PowerShell, VBScript).

Strong performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation skills.

Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles, patterns, and usage
