Overview:
The Project Coordinator for our Commercial Team will be a key role integrated into the day to day operations of the Commercial Spaceflight team. A role that will interface directly with our Commercial Spaceflight management, employees and customers helping to proactively manage projects within the team. We are looking for someone who thinks ahead of our team and is anticipating the needs before they arise.

Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will:
Implement Commercial team process improvements
Determine best event opportunities for management to attend to enhance effectiveness
Coordinate customer meetings at conferences and events
Perform marketing and communication activities as needed in support of our marketing and communications manager and the Commercial team
Represent the Barrios values to internal and external personnel
Interface with all levels of the Barrios workforce
Perform administrative duties tied to Commercial projects
Facilitate Commercial Meetings and customer engagements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience in a project coordinator or marketing role
Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint
Proactive, strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Project execution with little to no direction
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Experience with developing digital media
Experience in document development, formatting (e.g., applying style sheets, margins, creating Table of Contents) to a specified standard
Essential Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
Physical ability to set up events to include moving tables/chairs, ability to lift and arrange table content (e.g., food, snacks, beverages)
This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
