Position Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieves customer satisfaction by promptly and accurately processing new orders.

Uses multiple software programs to review patient profiles and type scripts.

Updates patient records with strong attention to detail.

Verifies the accuracy of patient and prescription information.

Transfers clarifications to the appropriate team.

Upholds HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Meets production standards and Key Performance Indicators for DE processing times.

Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of prescribed orders for compounded medications.

Competence in Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement; this may include using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and being able to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

1-year experience in a Pharmacy Tech DE role or equivalent.

Texas Board of Pharmacy- Pharmacy Technician license. Must be an active license and not on probation.

Minimum 50 words per minute typing speed.
