Hybrid Role

ONSITE requirement - "Mon/Tues/Thursday" & Work from Home on Wed & Fri

Important Information and Expectations

We need a working manager for this small team that covers payrolls in five countries. This role requires someone who can handle various payroll-related tasks, especially during team members' vacations or holidays. A real team player who understands the dynamics of small departments is essential.

Job Purpose

Manages payroll processes

Manages payroll team as needed

Ensures proper management of all contractual, fiscal, insurance, and social security formalities related to personnel management

Key Interactions

Internally: Legal, Administration, Finance, Accounts and Cost Control department, HR, C&B team

Externally: Social Security Institutes, Labor Office, Auditing team, and Tax Authorities

Main Accountabilities

Administers Payroll

Manages payroll team to assist with payroll processing, project completion, training, and meeting deadlines

Leads small payroll projects and meetings

Troubleshoots and resolves issues

Participates in industrial relations meetings

Partners to design and implement local/regional policies in alignment with Company pay policies

Ensures prompt and proper payment of salaries, contributions, and taxes

Handles relations with tax authorities related to federal, state, and local tax notices, audits, etc.

Provides opinions on pay, contributions, and fiscal aspects

Reviews and analyzes current payroll, benefits, and tax procedures to recommend and implement best practices

Ensures systems are updated to reflect current employee base and compliance with contracts

Communicates actively with Business lines, HR C&B, and Finance departments

Ensures data integrity in Payroll systems

Participates in payroll or time system implementation projects

Handles payroll processing during team member vacations and balances workload during high activity periods

Job Scope

Manage complex systems: Payroll Income Tax, Social Security, Benefits/Perquisites Management; Regional scope

Population scope: 3500 people

International payroll team: US, Canada, and Mexico

Payroll processing regions: US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, and Guyana

Typical Profile / Must-Have

Bachelor's degree

5 years of working experience in HR

Excellent communication skills

Planning and organizational skills

Fluent in English

Special Skills Required

Experience with ADP (enterprise, payforce, vantage)

Payroll system change management

Knowledge of Workforce time system (a plus)

Lead/manager/team management experience

Experience in a shared services environment (a plus)

Spanish speaking (a plus)

SAP experience (a plus)
