Job Summary

The role of the Cargo Admin is responsible for assisting the Cargo Supervisor with daily operations, organizing the warehouse and storage facilities; arrange warehouse handling equipment and load/unload air cargo. Verify and keep records on import and export cargo. Maintain the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies. The expected pay rate is $60k/yr.

Job Responsibilities

Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks

Prepare and palletize cargo as needed

Ensure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate

Ensure paperwork is prepared timely and accurately

Assure proper handling of cargo, delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment

Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations

Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

Perform related duties as assigned

Your profile

experience with P&L responsibility, preferably in the Aviation Industry

Fluent spoken and written English

Strong strategic skills and commercial acumen combined with the ability to motivate teams to deliver high quality standards

Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal and external work relationships with all stakeholders and interest groups

Team focused management style that fits into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Strong oral and written communications and ability to communicate and motivate at all levels

A sense of urgency and a passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement

Personal and professional integrity of the highest order

Qualifications

. High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Valid driver's license

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work flexible working hours

Ability to work in inclement weather

Prior aviation experience preferred
