About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced CTRM (Commodity Trade Risk Management) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our technology group for a greenfield SAP S/4 implementation in the oil and gas industry. This critical contract role will play a pivotal role in driving business requirements and defining the CTRM solution within S/4.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the CTRM SME within the technology group, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise on ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) processes used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand current CTRM workflows and identify opportunities for improvement within the new S/4 environment.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for the CTRM solution in SAP S/4.
  • Work with the implementation team to configure and customize the Commodity Management module in S/4 to meet specific business needs.
  • Possess a strong understanding of SAP S/4 Commodity Management functionalities and its capabilities for CTRM processes.
  • Leverage experience with RightAngle integration to ensure seamless data exchange with the CTRM system.
  • Participate in solution design workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in CTRM solutions.
  • Document processes and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Knowledgeable about SAP S/4 Best practices, specifically in the CTRM space and Risk Management

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry required with a strong understanding of ETRM processes.
  • Proven experience as a CTRM SME, with a successful track record of driving CTRM implementations or optimizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 Commodity Management functionalities and its application in CTRM.
  • Experience with RightAngle integration and its use within CTRM workflows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
