Position Summary:
The Director, Enterprise Platforms drives innovation and ensures seamless integration across enterprise systems, aligning technology with business needs to support Empower's mission of expanding access to affordable medications. This role offers the opportunity to lead teams, optimize platforms, and shape modern software practices in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides technical leadership and drives innovation in solution development for enterprise platform teams, guiding software engineering in implementing and customizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
Leads platform strategy to address business needs, collaborating with Digital Product Teams, Data Teams, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Engineering, and Infrastructure & Operations.
Oversees delivery of enterprise-wide digital back-end services, ensuring consistent and reusable design for Oracle, Dynamics 365, and cloud platforms to maximize effectiveness.
Acts as a strategic thought leader, driving microservices, event-based integrations, data management, and system applications through the Digital Integration Hub, while maintaining large-scale platforms with managed service partners.
Coaches teams on modern software practices, reinforces technology standards, monitors key metrics aligned with Key Performance Indicators and Objectives and Key Results, and manages 24/7 global support and operations.

Knowledge and Skills:
Proven success in project management, strategic planning, and business integrations, with pharmaceutical industry expertise, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Agile methodologies, resource management, and KPI development.

Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in digital technology, including 10 years leading teams and 5 years in senior roles managing large ERP and platform implementations using modern digital practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience managing digital teams, developing ERP strategies, and leading large-scale IT platforms like ERP and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with expertise in Oracle ERP, Dynamics 365, and support operations.
