We are looking for a Diaphragm Press Operator to join our growing team in Tomball, TX!

SUMMARY:

The Diaphragm Press Operator will set up and run the Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Press machines, accurately and in a timely manner, to produce excellent quality molds and/or parts in accordance with specifications, planned processes, times, and quality, and ensure the assigned equipment is maintained as needed.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Sets-up all Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Presses accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately weighs all resin containers prior to use and after use, records information on Inventory Log Sheets, and accurately reports amount used for Work Orders.
  • Accurately records number of blanks taken on appropriate Inventory Log.
  • Molds parts accurately (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.
  • Properly die cuts parts (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.
  • Properly and accurately clocks in and out of work and jobs.
  • Properly and accurately records completed diaphragms and / or molds.
  • Properly and accurately records scrap / waste.
  • Maintains work area neat and clean.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations.
  • Attains goal for Machine Hours versus Payroll Hours.
  • Attains goal for Actual Hours versus Planned Hours on Work Orders.
  • Attains goal for scrap and waste.
  • Loads ovens as needed.
  • Properly handles, uses, operates, and relocates / stores all tooling and dies used.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures in department.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, a maintain accurate records and job history

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Accredited High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.
