Job Description

The accountant will assist with a wide range of day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting.

Maintain accurate and thorough financial records ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded

Perform daily AR and AP functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Maintain and manage the company employee expense reimbursement system

Maintain and manage the company purchase requisition system

Maintain and manage the monthly asset records

Assist with the month-end close process, including bank and account reconciliation and financial report preparation

Prepare and submit monthly or quarterly sales tax returns, as needed

Collaborate and communicate with other departments, as needed

Communicate with customers and vendors, as needed

Implement and maintain internal controls

Assist in creating and maintaining accounting policies and procedures

All other duties as assigned.
