Description:

• Perform installation, service, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair activities on video surveillance systems, access control systems, intrusion alarm systems and network infrastructure.
• Must have ability to assess and develop strategy to run and terminate cabling (Coaxial, Category, Access, Etc.) in busy environments.
• Set up, mount, and install DVRs, NVRs, PoE Switches, and low-voltage power supplies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve low voltage electrical, cable, computer hardware, and software problems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and specs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various product lines.
• Manage assigned inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Complete and submit thorough, accurate paperwork on-time.
• Ensure assigned jobs are completed on-time and within budget.
• Act as a knowledge resource for Field Service Team members.
• Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years previous low voltage experience as security installer in video, intrusion, and access control.

Willingness to travel overnight 50% of the time.

Must have valid driver's license, strong driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients.

Must have working knowledge of security technology, tools, and installation techniques.

Must be able to climb ladders, operate lifts and be comfortable with heights.

Organized, self-driven, and customer-focused.

Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively.

Ability to lift 70lbs.

Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Willingness to work varying schedules, including days, overnights, and some weekends.

Professional appearance and communication.

Must provide basic hand tools.

Military experience a plus.

Supervisory experience a plus.

Experience operating in retail environments a plus.

Previous experience with Bosch Intrusion a plus.

Previous experience with Mercury Hardware a plus.

Compensation details: 35-45 Hourly Wage
