Job Title: Director, Program Management Job Code: 16842 Job Location: Greenville, Texas Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: The Director of Podded Products & Solutions will manage a group of highly experienced professionals with responsibility of Profit and Loss of our current and future podded product line for the domestic and international markets. Our Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) podded products include the Scalable Open Architecture Reconnaissance (SOAR) system which is operationally deployed. The candidate will direct all phases of programs from capture through execution with direct responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. The candidate will participate alongside Contracts in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. The candidate will coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, annual financial plans, proposal work statements and specifications, and operating budgets and financial teams/conditions of contract. The candidate will act as primary customer contact for program activities, lead Program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Candidate will assist to establish design concepts and criteria for product research and will influence the design, development, and integration & test of new Products. The candidate will assist with the development of new business and expansion of the product line with current and future customers. The candidate will establish milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules; identify program problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. The candidate will direct the work of employees assigned to the program from all aspects including, but not limited to, technical, manufacturing, and administrative. Essential Functions: Demonstrated ability to work across internal functions and with outside suppliers to facilitate successful product completion/delivery.
Knowledgeable in program management methodology and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles.
Demonstrated ability in the areas of manpower planning, project reviews, scheduling, and budget control.
Qualified applicant will possess excellent managerial and leadership skills.
Position requires the flexibility to work on short notice, overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Ability to travel & work extended hours: 10-15% Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
Requires advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business area or functional teams. Typically has broad experience across multiple related professional disciplines within the organization, combining theory, past practical experience and the organization's business practices.
Position requires an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Preferred Additional Skills: Current PMP certification.
