Systems Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: Pay Range: $50-59
Duration: 12 months Active Secret Clearance Summary:
We are seeking a talented engineer that enjoys holistic system thinking to support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration and verification activities for integration programs that take the PAC-3 MSE Missile Segment and extend its functionality to other combat systems. What You'll Do:
• Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS
• Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs
• Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) Required Qualifications:
DOD Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering (Undeclared), Mechanical Engineering, Other STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) degrees considered.
3 + years working experience in DOORS
3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo
Broad technical acumen to apply to complex system thinking
Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs
Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment Desired Skills:
Experience with C++, MATLAB is a plus
Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts
