Job summary

The Director of Vendor Partnerships will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing CoolSys Professional Solutions relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing vendor interactions, ensuring seamless operations and favorable terms. You will lead a team responsible for vendor management and be involved in all aspects from onboarding to conflict resolution. This role requires a strategic thinker with robust project management skills and a background in vendor coordination. This role is hybrid in Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors across various trades. Serve as the main point of contact for all vendor-related inquiries and issues.

Manage and update the vendor database within the CRM system to ensure accuracy and currency.

Analyze business and financial results to support sales and operational goals. Utilize data to drive continuous improvements and operational efficiencies.

Oversee the processing and execution of vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance. Conduct random audits of vendor invoices to verify billing accuracy.

Develop and implement vendor management strategies, policies, and procedures to standardize operations and enhance service quality.

Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to vendor management and partnerships.

Set departmental goals and strategic direction in alignment with broader company objectives.

Identify industry innovations and trends. Create and execute programs to drive business improvement, scalability, and innovation.

Present findings and recommendations to the key management team. Maintain detailed logs of all vendor activities and performance metrics.

Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and contractual terms.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 7-10 years of senior-level vendor management experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline preferred or similar combination of education and experience.

3-5 years in the HVAC, Refrigeration, and/or Facility Services industries preferred.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Proven track record of successful vendor relationship management.

Ability to analyze data and drive actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Familiarity with CRM systems and vendor management software.
