We're hiring: Traveling Substation Electrician

Responsibilities:
Bring your passion, here's what's needed:
Must poses a valid TDLR Apprentice or Journeymen's License is required.
3-5 years of experience in Substation commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Participate in the commissioning of new substations, including testing and energizing transformers, switchgear, and protective relays to ensure systems are operational and meet design specifications.
Conduct testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of protective relays and control systems to ensure accurate operation and system protection during electrical faults.
Work with SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control of substation equipment, ensuring data integrity and communication with the central control center.
Ability to read electrical prints including one line, schematic and wiring prints.
Ability to interpret test results and evaluate the results based on standards provided by the specific equipment manufacturer, test equipment manufacturer and/or company provided standards.
Ability to troubleshoot control circuitry of substation equipment that may require troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical problems.
General knowledge of substation wiring standards.
General knowledge of substation construction
Ability to effectively communicate findings using written and verbal communications skills.
Present recommendations for repairs and/or upgrades to other team members, management, and/or client representatives.
Proficient with the set up and use of general and specialized test equipment encountered in the daily testing of electrical substations.
Ability to supervise and train less experienced technicians.
Must be able to pass Pre-employment Drug screen and Background Check.
Have the ability to fluently communicate effectively with customers, team members, and project managers regarding project progress, issues, and recommendations.
Not required, but nice to have:
Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas preferred.
100% Travel Required within the continental United States.

Pay Range $25.00 - $50.00 Per Hour Compensation commensurate with experience.
