Local South Forth Worth, TX AISC Certified structural and miscellaneous metals company is seeking an exceptional Contract Administrator with heavy Project Management experience and estimating experience, a plus. This company successfully completes projects such as schools, data centers, healthcare buildings, office spaces, industrial and truss heavy projects. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:


  • Project Management experience in steel industry, minimum of 10 years
  • Structural Steel experience, Misc. Metals preferred
  • Steel fabrication, erection or similar, preferred
  • B.S. in Construction Mgmt, Design professional, drafting or technical degree field

COMPUTER SKILLS:


  • Must be competent with the computer
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, MS Word and Outlook
  • Tekla, Fabsuite, Bluebeam, Computer Ease or similar, a plus
  • Gantt or a type of scheduling program, a plus

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:


  • Developing accurate estimates / budgets for projects through the bid / negotiating phase.
  • Assist in contract review / negotiations. Understanding the scope / contract requirements and the intended deliverables.
  • Establish sequencing / schedules / milestones - communicating such to company / client teams.
  • Coordination of submittals / RFIs / PO's / Subcontracts / Purchasing for project specific needs.
  • Update weekly reports / logs to monitor schedules and job costs.
  • Review / Price changes in work - negotiate with client.
  • Develop / maintain / improve client relationships.
