Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative CADD and Engineering Technology Analyst to join our dynamic and growing organization. The CADD and Engineering Technology Analyst in collaboration with IT, design, and engineering teams will be responsible for evaluating and continually optimizing our application use, integration, automation, standards and training. The ideal candidate will have a background in Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation and ESRI ArcGIS. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multi-discipline groups of experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities:

Meet with engineers, project managers and designers to develop strategies to streamline and optimize workflows and processes.

Develop and reinforce CADD standards for our company and clients.

Lead the management of CADD, creation of procedures, development of details library, drafting standards and maintenance routines.

Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to identify methods for automating tasks.

In cooperation with application super users, conduct assessments and create training programs for new hires, interns and existing staff.

Provide guidance on program implementation, equipment requirements and the evolution of technology and support strategies.

Serve as point of contact for end-users seeking assistance with software, project workflows and technical issues.

Provide technical expertise, knowledge and support to ensure the harmony of engineering and design activities.

Define and enforce the pace of adoption of new applications, software releases and updates.

Evaluate the benefit and applicability of new technologies such as AI, virtual reality, augmented reality, BIM, etc.

Develop, test and implement productivity enhancing strategies, such as application integration, automation and AI.

Requirements

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering technology, drafting, computer science or related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience utilizing Bentley and Autodesk applications for large complex projects.

Minimum 5 years of experience in CADD management within the field of consulting engineering/architecture.

Proven experience in plan production and design for civil projects

Expertise with Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley ORD and MicroStation.

Autodesk Certification and Bentley Accreditation preferred.

Experience utilizing ProjectWise Explorer, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with machine learning algorithms for natural language processing, image recognition and predictive analytics

Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, such as PowerShell, Python, R, JavaScript, C#, etc.

AI certification such as CGAI, CAIS, ARITBA, Azure AI Engineer Associate, a plus

Professional:
