Role: Teradata (L2,L3) Support Engineer Client: Confidential Location - Remote (Dallas, Texas) Rate : $50 on c2c Must have Teradata, GCP and ETL Ratings: Teradata - 10/10 GCP - 5/10 ETL - 5/10 Job Description/Responsibilities Understand the EDW system, artifacts & processes to handle the project deliverables. Good understanding of production support process SLAs are very critical, response and resolved incident tickets with in SLA Participate in the KT sessions from development team as part of transition to support Participate in weekly production support deployment activities Closely monitor incident tickets assigned to EDW support till the closure Flexible to work after hours and over the weekends as needed for the support Support experience with GCP Required Qualifications Overall 10+ years of IT experience Overall 5+ years of experience in production support in Data warehousing ETL projects. Hands-on experience on the tools listed under the Primary Skills column. Good work experience with Teradata & utilities Must understand software development methodologies including waterfall and agile. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Primary Skills Data warehouse & Data Modeling Concepts Database Tools & Utilities - Teradata, BTEQ, TPT, FastLoad & SQL Queries UNIX/Shell scripting Job Scheduling Maestro, Control-M Support experience with Google Cloud Platform & Google Cloud Platform ETL Pipelines.
