Overview:
Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 65 law firm, is seeking an experienced Regional Administrative Manager. This position will be a crucial part of the Firm's leadership team working closely with the Director of Administration and Operations and Office Managing Partners regarding workforce planning, office operations, recruiting, and employee relations for office locations in Texas and California.

This position is in-office and open to either our Dallas or Plano office.

A Day in the Life:
As the Regional Administrative Manager, you will provide office leadership to offices in Texas and California, serving as an effective change agent as the office operational needs continue to evolve. You will be involved with workforce planning, recruiting and selection of new hires, training and orientation of new hires, administration of Firm policies i.e. coaching, and discipline of employees (staff and attorneys) as needed, and you will collaboratively partner with supervising attorneys to cultivate an effective and productive team and work environment. As Regional Administrative Manager, you will also continuously seek and implement improvements to the overall operations of the office in coordination with the Director of Administration & Operations and Partner in Charge and manage workflow within the office to make certain work is fairly and equitably assigned. Finally, in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with office management regarding facilities and serve as liaison with IT for onsite issues and set up.

This position will report directly to the Director of Administration & Operations.

Additionally, you possess strong communication skills as well as the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. You have a demonstrated ability to partner with senior management and leadership attorneys. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands. You are committed to working collaboratively as part of a team and your ability to lead, influence, and motivate others is outstanding.

You possess a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of law firm management experience with emphasis on daily office operations, staff administration, and employee relations, as well as support of office marketing and business development initiatives.
