As a Joe V's Production Lead you will supervise, schedule, train and coach Production Team Partners while ensuring productivity, safety, sanitation levels, quality control, and ordering product, supplies and ingredients for production. You'll perform all job responsibilities with a sense of ownership and team approach.

What is the work?
Store Lead Operations:
- Applies experience and knowledge to support the Store and Department in Manager's absence
- Leads a team in efficient day-to-day operations and a constant workflow
- Delegates / directs work; assists with setting department-related expectations (e.g., ORT, wrap, safety, sanitation, 5s); motivates Partners; may coach and/or provide feedback; may help with department work schedules
- Trains new partners on production processes
- Ensures compliance with company, Store, and department policies and procedures
- Assists in all technical areas such as scanning, as needed
- Handles Customer, Partner, and sanitation issues according to guidelines; escalating to management as needed
- Troubleshoots / reports equipment issues
- Ensures adequate levels of product and supplies for day-to-day operations
- Serves as a central contact between the Manager and other Production Team Partners
- Performs Department and cross-functional duties as needed
- Role models / fosters excellent customer service

Production:
- Responsible for ordering product and ingredients for production area; assists with loads, unloads, and moves product
- Execute and ensure compliance of Fresh Production Planner
- Ensure all production processes are followed to minimize shrink and ensure quality control
- Ensure tag to tag integrity for production planograms
- Ensure First In / First Out and dating of salesfloor items & bulk production process is followed
- Ensures wareroom and wrap areas are organized

Food Safety / Sanitation:
- Practices safety awareness
- Oversees production area sanitation standards are met
- Ensures compliance with department SOP - s
- Cleans and sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
- Complies with department / Store operating procedures and federal / state regulations

What is your background?
- Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
- 6+ months of related experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Completion of required job skills training, compliance-related training, and divisional orientation

Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Production Lead?
- Strong working knowledge of assigned department(s) or area(s)
- Understanding of basic financial workings of assigned department, and how to drive profitability
- Advanced customer service skills
- Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
- Conflict resolution and influencing skills
- PC skills
- Ability to provide feedback on department procedures
- Ability to be flexible in adjusting priorities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Proficiency in Scanner and Business Center duties and skills

-Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs

While there may be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally defined as - Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently: 2.5 - 5.5 hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally: 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hour day
It is the responsibility of each individual Partner to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and / or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
