Responsibilities:
The Engineering Technician will assist engineers and construction personnel in development of numerous project documents and reports including but not limited to Decision Support Package (DSP) documentation, bid documents, job books, cost forecasts, well connect reports, engineering project progress reports, and other project related documents. This person is responsible for coordination and organization of archived project information. Work will be performed on capital projects in the $5,000 to multi-million dollar range. Duties include:

Assist engineers and construction personnel in preparing pipeline routes, decision support packages, construction bid packages, and job book assembly and close out.

Ensure engineering data accuracy, and work with project controls to ensure they are getting data for analysis.

Lead and capture action items in weekly operations and engineering meetings.

Maintain recurring project update reports, well connect reports, and other recurring reports. Meet with parties involved regularly to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Assist accounts payable in routing of invoices for payment to the correct project managers and troubleshooting issues. Enter and update AFEs. Assist with project accruals.

Must be able to work with and interact with others in field operations group as well as Company's Safety, Environmental, Measurement, Administrative, Supply Chain, and Accounting Departments.

Interaction with producers, customers, vendors, contractors, service companies, regulatory agencies, and the public.

Capable of performing duties independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum 3 years of related experience; midstream energy preferred.

General pipeline design and operations experience and knowledge required.

Ability to utilize people skills and task prioritizing skills to allow for scheduling and at times directing contract personnel.

Ability to utilize basic computer skills to use company e-mail, company issued software & hardware, and complete electronic reports.

Ability to work under minimal supervision.
