Job Title: Director of FP&A

Location: DFW Metro Area

Work Schedule: 5 Days On-Site

Compensation: $175,000 - $195,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the DFW Metro Area, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Director of FP&A will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing strategic insights to the executive team. This role is critical for aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives and ensuring the company's continued success. The candidate will work on-site 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.

Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making and assess business performance.

Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform business decisions and guide financial strategy.

Analyze financial performance, identify key trends and drivers, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial objectives and operational goals.

Manage the capital allocation process, conducting scenario analysis, and assessing ROI on key investments.

Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting key insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and integration planning.

Continuously improve FP&A processes and systems to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting, and operational performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a high-growth company.

Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and providing strategic financial insights.

Strong track record of supporting executive decision-making with actionable financial analysis and insights.

Experience with M&A activities, including financial due diligence and post-merger integration is a plus.

Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments and at the executive level.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary ranging from $175,000 to $195,000 per year, depending on experience.
