Job description
Duties You will implement new products, systems modifications, security enhancements and engineer new capability solutions relating to networks, hardware, and software provided to customer base. You will be the technical advisor and SME within the Enterprise Support Center (ESC) and work as an integral member with internal and external customers and IT system administrators to resolve technical problems and to enhance system availability. You will ensure software and hardware is compliant with the approved security baseline configurations to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. You will develop, and coordinate activities designed to ensure, protect, and restore IT systems, services, and capabilities. You will develop and integrate tightly coupled systems management and control processes to ensure the integrity of critical systems and processes. You will design, maintain, install, support, and manage various computer systems, networks, servers, and storage systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical planning, analysis, design, testing, configuration, integration, maintenance, and management of information systems that support the organizational mission. Additionally, your resume must reflect experience implementing cloud-based solutions to include, systems modifications, security enhancements, and the ability to engineer new capability solutions relating to networks, hardware, and software.
