Job description

Akkodis is seeking a BI Analytics Platform Admin for a Contract job with a client in Tampa, FL/Dallas, TX (Hybrid). Candidates must have experience managing BI platforms, including expertise in platform architecture design, and lead automation efforts through scripting and optimizing platform governance while providing support for production environments.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

BI Analytics Platform Admin job responsibilities include:

• Manage and administer BI platforms such as Power BI, Looker, and Amazon QuickSight to support business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics.

• Design and deliver complex platform architectures, ensuring efficient setup, administration, and troubleshooting of BI services, including Power BI Premium Capacity and Azure integration.

• Implement automation solutions using Python, Shell Scripting, and PowerShell, as well as integrate product APIs for streamlined admin functions and CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee platform governance, security setup (Active Directory, Azure AD, OAuth, SAML), and user training for effective self-service BI practices.

• Provide on-call support for production environments, resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal IT and security teams, and mentor team members to uphold BI development standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.

• 10+ years of experience in managing BI platforms.

• Strong expertise in Power BI, Looker, and Amazon QuickSight administration.

• Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and integration with product APIs.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
