Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Un-package parts to ensure they are not damaged in transit utilizing power tools
• Adhere to procedures and ensure parts are routed to the accumulation department
• Communicate status of pending parts with the Material Coordinators
• Enter data into databese software for receiving process
• Troubleshoot material issues.
• Work with quality team and utilize the eNCR system concerning parts defects
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• The ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency and focused on safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills in English.
• Train new employees as required.
• Ability to function in a face paced environment
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and requests
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of one-year experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard.
• Ability to be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Strong verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to actively work on multiple tasks at the same time.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English language.
• Previous Material Handling experience.
• Computer skills (Oracle, MS Outlook, MS Excel or another warehouse management system).
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English language.
• Certified to operate a forklift or ability to be certified under GE standards.
• Certified in crane and rigging operations.
• Ability to operate a forklift over 15,000 pounds.
