Job description
Overview:
As a Survey Project Manager / RPLS you'll lead the efforts on a multi-year heavy civil construction project in Austin, TX. Your responsibilities will include project management and invoicing, reviewing survey work orders from the site's general contractor and their subcontractors, scheduling crews to accommodate work orders, documenting re-stake requests, reviewing and maintaining survey field procedures, reviewing and maintaining office processing procedures to assure a high level of consistent work product and service. You'll assist with the identification and recruitment of key personnel and will mentor and train the survey staff to assure professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
10+ years of professional licensed surveying experience;
Registered Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Texas;
Experience with Trimble Access and TBC;
Heavy background in managing projects in the field of construction survey and staking;
Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques and practices of land surveying;
Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the survey practice.
