Responsibilities:
The Financial Systems Team at the client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications contributing to the Statewide Financial Systems team under the guidance of the Fiscal Management division.

The primary responsibility for this role is to develop and implement advanced solutions in alignment with client's standards, guidelines, and design documentation. The candidate will perform coding, testing, debugging, and provide high-quality solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff to ensure seamless coordination of changes prepare test data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet availability and performance requirements. Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Client will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:

Participating in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle, including design, software development and code review.

Performing extensive code reviews and analysis.

Writing reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and best practices are being followed; provide analysis to address found short comings.

Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.
