Job description

gpac is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Development Assistant Project Manager for a growing company specializing in development construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site/land development, including field experience with utilities, grading, and overall site work. This role requires a hands-on professional who can assist in managing multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of site development projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of field activities.
  • Manage on-site operations, including utilities installation, grading, and earthwork, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and the project team to ensure smooth execution of all site development tasks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and progress updates.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for necessary permits and inspections.
  • Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing budgets, tracking project costs, and ensuring financial objectives are met.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of X years of field experience in site development, with a strong focus on utilities, grading, and earthwork.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate field activities on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of site development processes, including utility installation and grading.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
