The position: The Risk Administrator contributes to the success of the organization through management of legal process services and incident reports related to risk management and insurance processes.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing administrative support to the risk and insurance team.
Receives and processes SOP's into RMIS system, assigns files to individual Risk Manager's or Insurance Manager.
Assists in developing analytics to track and monitor performance.
Corresponds with internal teams to collect information or evidence to assist in claims & litigation management.
Assists outside counsel with administrative tasks when assigned.
Maintains effective scheduling of legal response dates, individually and as a group, based on court deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal or insurance management software.
Knowledge of Yardi, and OneSite/RealPage
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records while ensuring that deadlines are met.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to handle sensitive legal and insurance information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and responding to urgent requests.
Physical Requirements
May be required to sit for extended periods of time
May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring the associate to be in one of our corporate offices at least four days a week.
The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in property management or legal
Supervisory experience a plus
