Could This Be For You?:
The Merger & Acquisitions Analyst III - Hybrid Remote (home/office) will be responsible for various functions related to the acquisition process including task management, analysis of financial statements and related financial data, and support of other members of the Mergers & Acquisitions Team.
Your Impact:
Review and organize incoming acquisition information
Develop pro forma and business case for potential acquisitions
Assist in preparation of term sheets and cover letters
Perform and coordinate due diligence
Present analysis of acquired companies' financial results versus the pro forma and budget
Develops analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
Provide supporting data for and present working capital computation
Assist in special projects
Assist with tasks as required; scanning, data entry, scheduling of conference calls, coordination of travel / meetings, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience to substitute for the bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Preferred
3+ years of public accounting, industry accounting/finance or banking experience working on the valuation of companies.
Additional Success Factors:
Analytical skills; capable of deciphering financial data and interpreting relevant information and statistics
Effective communication skills for accurate and concise oral and written presentations to the M&A Team, Sellers and their accounting and legal advisors
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
