Job description

Our client in the financial industry is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join their team. As a Financial Analyst II, you will be part of the Accounts Receivable team supporting credit risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting concepts, excellent writing skills, and experience in credit risk mitigation structures and implementation.

Job Title: Financial Analyst II

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid schedule - remote Monday and Friday, in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

What's the Job?

Perform account reconciliation and identify payments

Work with financial institutions to resolve end-customer inquiries

Conduct credit limit audits, leasing order review, and invoice generation/distribution

Address credit limit constraints, identify risk in the portfolio, and manage credit risk appropriately to minimize write-offs and maximize revenue

Prepare periodic credit reviews and daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting

Build strong relationships with work partners in Apple Financial Services, WW Sales Finance Credit, Sales, Operations, and Global Business Solutions

Determine methods and procedures on projects and may coordinate activities or participate in cross-functional teams to improve organizational processes

What's Needed?

Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and corporate finance trends

Excellent writing skills and able to succinctly articulate credit analysis, customer relationship, and recommended actions

Well-versed in customer contract credit language and credit risk mitigation structures and implementation (e.g. collateral, credit insurance, bank support, parent support, etc.)

Eye for detail and seeing the big picture, committed to excellence and teamwork

Experience in SLA reporting, analysis, and portfolio management
