Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-Site 3 Days, Remote 2 Days)

Position Overview

Our client, a fast-growing PE-backed company in the Austin, Texas Metro Area, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Director of FP&A will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, while providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making. This role is pivotal to driving financial performance and ensuring the company's growth trajectory is aligned with its financial objectives. The successful candidate must be able to work on-site 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and long-term planning.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, helping shape the company's strategic direction.

Analyze business performance and identify key drivers of financial performance and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Support the capital allocation process, including scenario analysis, project ROI, and investment prioritization.

Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting results to the executive team and private equity stakeholders.

Assist in driving M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition integration.

Continuously assess and improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Director of FP&A or senior financial leader, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth environment.

Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.

Strong background in providing strategic financial insights and supporting data-driven decision-making at the executive level.

Experience with capital allocation processes and supporting M&A activities.

Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and at the executive level.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
