Job description
The long-term purpose of this role is to lead a team of product experts that maintains the ownership of the Functional Automation and Performance Framework and Products to validate our latest .Net/C# based software platform. This includes completing new functionality, reducing our technical debt, and delivering best of class software to support Quality Assurance Automated Functional and Performance Testing.
What You'll DoManage evaluate, establish, and optimize software and test teams, software processes, choose technologies.
Develop and establish policies which will govern the department. Provides direction to senior management in various areas, groups, and/or operations as it pertains to Automation and Performance Testing.
Consistently providing the support and latest technology releases for the product development teams that are dependent on this platform core.
Drive architecture decisions regarding the Automation and Performance Testing Framework and Product's technical direction.
Assess and make difficult calls regarding code refactoring, design decisions and when/how to tackle technical debt.
Develop and drive a strong product culture, fostering cross-group collaboration, utilizing agile development methods, and keeping focus on consistent development progress across the product line.
Drive and support the existing product delivery focused teams, make recommendations on product improvement, manage necessary change, direct any necessary refactoring of existing software, and own the future product's upgrade path.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
A minimum of 8 years of solid technical experience, which included at least five years' experience in contributing to full product lifecycles (vision, definition, successful release/deployment). Experience with game design, development, release and deployment is desirable
Expert Level C# and .Net Core/Framework skills
Expert Level Object Oriented design and Analysis skills
High level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups involved in common business goals and objectives
Ability to immediately recognize potential issues and inefficiencies in designs, algorithms, and architectures
Experience with Automation Testing Frameworks, Tools, and Technologies
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Passion for quality with strong technical and project management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to meet changing demands and to adapt to frequently changing priorities
Ability to lead a team through multiple concurrent projects on different schedules
Superior written and oral communication skill

Travel Expectations None Pay Range $148,496 - $275,779 per yearOur goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
