This position will be supporting the PAC-3 Production/International contracts team within the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Line of Business and will include the following activities:p> What You Will Be Doing • Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.
• Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relationships
• Help shape and implement business strategies and provide creative solutions to overcome challenges
• Advise Contracts and Program leadership of contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
• Lead cross-functional LM teams to negotiate contracts. For a level 5, we typically require 15 yrs of professional experience; or 13 yrs of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Basic Qualifications:
Experience proposing, negotiating and administering contracts.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
- US Citizenship required, candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance and successfully pass a drug and background check.
-Occasional travel is required. -Must be able to obtain a security clearance, if required.
Desired Skills:
-Experience in strategy development for new captures
-Experience proposing, negotiating, and managing complex USG contracts; Experience supporting proposals and contracts in various program phases (e.g. development, production, and sustainment contracts) and experience with different contract types (e.g FPI, FFP, CPIF, CPFF, etc.) is a plus
-Experience proposing, negotiating, and managing International DCS and FMS contracts; prior experience drafting International/DCS contract terms and familiarity with International Commercial Terms is a plus -Knowledge and application of acquisition regulations (FAR, DFAR)
-Experience with Other Transactional Authority (OTA) agreements.
-Ability to work independently under very limited supervision.
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
-Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Policies and Procedures, business systems and tools is a plus.
-Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are a plus.
-Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
-Strong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
-Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and customers.
- Ability to establish trusted partnerships with internal and external customer.s
-Detail oriented and able to work collaboratively on teams; positive, enthusiastic; willing/able to bring forward creative ideas and solutions to difficult problems.
-Willingness to train, coach and educate others; prior leadership experience is a plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
