Job Description:

Are you a skilled Automotive Electrical Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding career? Professional Services is seeking a qualified individual to join our team in Arlington, TX. As an Automotive Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical system circuit faults, wiring, and components.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with all vehicle electrical systems.

Replace damaged electrical parts and maintain repair equipment.

Provide on-site vehicle repair and mentoring at an OEM assembly facility.

Lead and coordinate repair efforts, providing timely estimates.

Install new wiring systems according to OEM specifications.

Service and repair immobilizer, alarm, and electrical systems.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Complete job reports and paperwork.

Train and guide other technicians on vehicle electrical systems.

Conduct root cause analysis and share lessons learned.

Travel to other work sites as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical repair technician.

Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.

Ability to work in confined spaces and solve complex problems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical stamina to stand or crouch for extended periods.

Ability to distinguish colors and read diagnostic equipment.

Demonstrated knowledge of automotive systems from an advanced diagnostics perspective.

Proficiency with digital multimeters, OEM diagnostic scan tools, and other automotive diagnostic equipment.

Effective communication and training skills.

Ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams.

Independent work ethic.

Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE certifications.

Experience as a shop foreman or lead technician.

Automotive electrical schematic development experience.

Automotive Technical Assistance Center Experience.

Education:

Associates Degree or Certificate in Automotive Technology, engineering, or related field.
