Enlyte is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Accounting to join our dynamic and fast-paced corporate finance and accounting team. Reporting directly to the Vice President/Assistant Controller, this role will have a specific focus on overseeing the order-to-cash functions, including billing, accounts receivable, and cash applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight and Compliance
Manage the general ledger and support the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting functions
Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies
ERP Implementation and Integration
Lead the implementation of the NetSuite ERP system, ensuring a seamless transition from the legacy system
Oversee the end-to-end accounting for acquired subsidiaries during the integration process
Process Improvement and Automation
Establish and maintain efficient accounting processes, controls, and policies, documented in standard operating procedures
Implement automation and streamline financial consolidation for multiple entities to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Accounting Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support the team's growth and development
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with the Assistant Controller, CFO, and other senior management on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information
Project Management
Manage and execute various accounting projects and initiatives, such as acquisitions, integrations, and system enhancements
Potential for Nearshore/Offshore Team Management
Oversee and manage the performance of a nearshore/offshore function, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge transfer
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the offshore team's productivity and efficiency
Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to the offshore team members
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA required
At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Spanish speaking required
Experience with NetSuite ERP system implementation and migration is required
Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
Experience with consolidation, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency accounting
Experience with accounting for acquisitions, mergers, and integrations
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $142,000 - $190,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
