Overview:

Packer Trainee ABILENE, TX HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Comprehensive Compensation Package:

Pay Rate $13.80 per hour

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

Provide support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration.

Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.

Maintains good housekeeping practices, able to work safely in a fast paced environment.

Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Notifies Supervisor of quality issues as they arise.

Able to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions.

Able to lift 30 pounds.

Willing to work in a hot environment.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred

Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.

Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Ability to work in a warehouse environment and be on you feet for the duration of your shift.

The plant was built in 1987 and manufactures cups, lids, to-go containers and breakfast trays used in households and restaurants all over the US.
