Client location and schedule hours:

Our client is located in the Old Hickory area. The schedule is M-W-F 9 am t 3 pm

Job Responsibilities:
Caregiver Needed for Client Post-Neck Surgery


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist a client who has recently undergone neck surgery. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure a safe and comfortable recovery.

Responsibilities:


  • Transfers: Safely assist the client with moving between bed, chair, and wheelchair.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks as per dietary requirements.
  • Toileting Assistance: Provide help with toileting needs, maintaining the client's dignity and hygiene.
  • Shower Assistance: Assist with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene, ensuring safety and comfort.
Requirements:


  • Prior experience in caregiving, especially with post-surgical patients.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transferring.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic meal preparation and dietary considerations.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test
