Technical Solutions Consultant

Technical Solutions Consultant Job Summary:

This position will work directly with the Sales team, Project Managers, Technical Services, Product Development, IT and Customer Relations to effectively and professionally manage technical projects for large clients and potential clients. Provides support in both pre-and post-sale by attending presentations, conducting technical overviews, consultations, product demonstrations and installations/implementations. The ideal candidate is familiar with a variety of general technical concepts, software/hardware and communication protocols. The candidate also has an in-depth knowledge of the business aspects, including detailed understanding of all products, services, practices and procedures.

The candidate would be required to work with internal/external customers and third-party partners to analyze and design technical solutions to promote the business needs of the client. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provide technical support, including programming of unique applications and reports, across all product lines as required. Provide system analysis and third-party programming resource management support in integration of new products and migrating of existing products. Provide detailed technical support to third party vendors to improve their level of integration with our products.

Technical Solutions Consultant Core Responsibilities:

  • Present newly developed product offerings to existing and potential clients, answering any technical questions that may arise.
  • Assesses training needs and conducts training with the client as needed via webinars or on site at customer location
  • Make suggestions for product improvements to address quality, cost reduction, cycle time and/or usability
  • Ability to manage internal projects or initiatives based on management needs
  • Strategy Execution Leads in the execution of overall information systems strategy as it pertains to their vision of the organization in both strategic and tactical plans. Involved in team adoption, execution and integration of strategy to achieve optimal and efficient delivery.
  • Provide a consultative approach to customers based on industry experience
  • Work on new customer projects through design phase of new programs
  • Ability to travel to customer for onsite meetings when necessary
  • Keep informed of new enhancements to the system which will affect existing or future customers

Technical Solutions Consultant Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the job
  • 7+years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 4+ years of experience with implementations, client support, or customer-interfacing
  • 4+ years of experience with supporting client technical needs
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, solid analytical skills and attention to details; and excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to properly communicate and present our product offerings and functionality
  • Highly responsive to calls and emails; utilize available tools to track appointments and manage priorities without compromising other responsibilities
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues; ability to analyze customer processes and provide creative solutions for implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct virtual and onsite presentations and effectively facilitate meetings
  • Experience Supporting SOAP and REST APIs in a professional environment.
  • Familiar with Integration Platforms as a Service(iPaas) and has experience working with them.
  • Experience with the MuleSoft Platform as either a developer or administrator.
