Description

  • Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion
  • Lead and supervise the project administration team and construction engineers, while collaborating with project superintendents to set operational priorities
  • Accountable for forecasting, tracking, and reporting project costs and revenue, ensuring alignment with project estimates
  • Handle problem resolution related to labor disputes, staffing, materials, equipment, and contract/subcontract administration
  • Work closely with the construction Safety Manager to ensure projects meet established safety objectives
  • Build strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFI logs and change orders


Profile

  • 7+ years of experience with a commercial contractor
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager on commercial, educational, historic, hospitality, and/or public projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management, ensuring timely and thorough project completion
  • Team management experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of the current construction market and latest technologies
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in software and technology is a bonus
