Job Title: Label Press Operator (Mark Andy P5 & Webtron Press)
Job Summary:

Iconex is seeking a skilled Label Press Operator to join our team at our Morristown, TN facility. You will operate and maintain a 6-color Mark Andy P5 press and a Webtron press to produce high-quality label products. This role involves working 12-hour shifts with a shift differential of $1.50, offering both day and night shifts. We are looking for an experienced professional who is detail-oriented, committed to quality, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage a 6-color Mark Andy P5 press and Webtron press, ensuring efficient and accurate production of label products.

  • Perform routine press setup, adjustments, and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure print quality.

  • Monitor press operations, ensuring proper alignment, registration, and color accuracy of printed materials.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues as they arise.

  • Ensure that all printed materials meet company and client quality standards through regular inspections.

  • Work closely with other departments (prepress, quality control, shipping) to ensure timely and accurate job completion.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years operating flexographic presses (experience with Mark Andy P5 and Webtron preferred).

  • Skills: Proficiency in press setup, troubleshooting, color matching, and maintenance.

  • Certifications: 5S or Six Sigma training (preferred but not required).

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a production environment.

  • Schedule: Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights (6:45 AM - 7 PM or 6:45 PM - 7 AM), with a $1.50 shift differential for night shifts.


Work Environment:

You will work in a manufacturing facility that adheres to the highest safety standards. The role involves exposure to noise, machinery, and potentially chemicals used in the printing process. Proper protective equipment will be provided.
