RN - Trauma / Burn Outreach Educator Quick Apply with Resume upload A Brief Overview The Trauma/Burn Outreach Educator will be responsible for delivering and facilitating education in these domains, primarily focusing on external nursing and EMS clients. Classes taught- TNCC, ABLS, PHTLS, Stop the Bleed and function as the ATLS Course Coordinator. Individualized classes created for Trauma and Burn may also be taught when requested. What you will do Class Coordination - Responsible for class coordination which includes student registration, venue preparation and day-of logistics, required documentation, and class closure with student deliverables. Instruction - Will function as instructor, as needed, for each of the courses offered. Record keeping - Will maintain all required documentation to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and student continuing education. ATLS Course Coordinator duties as outlined by ATLS. Will be responsible for the creation and instruction of Individualized Trauma and Burn courses. Qualifications Associate Degree Required Bachelor Degree BSN or Bachelor Degree in a related health care field Required Master Degree MSN or Education/Business related Preferred Registered Nurse (RN) Required Valid driver license - travel in the service area of 150 square miles will be required. Must have reliable transportation. Required TNCC Instructor Certification (Emergency Nurses Association) Required Paramedic or EMT Preferred PHTLS Instructor Preferred ABLS Instructor Preferred 3-5 years related experience Required Power Point and Public Speaking Preferred Teaching experience Preferred ATLS Course Coordinator Preferred Physical Demands Standing - Constantly Walking - Constantly Sitting - Rarely Lifting - Frequently (up to 100lbs) Carrying - Frequently (up to 100lbs) Pushing - Occasionally Pulling - Occasionally Climbing - Occasionally Balancing - Occasionally Stooping - Frequently Kneeling - Frequently Crouching - Frequently Crawling - Occasionally Reaching - Frequently Handling - Frequently Grasping - Frequently Feeling - Constantly Talking - Constantly Hearing - Constantly Repetitive Motions - Constantly Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination - Constantly Regional One Health is committed to diversity and inclusion.
