Responsibilities:
Clinical Training and Education: Provide instruction and training on clinical skills and procedures during the initial hiring process and continuously as needed, with an emphasis on the professional development of field staff.
Supervision of Home Care Personnel: Oversee the performance of all assigned home care staff, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and regulations.
Coordination of Patient Care: Facilitate effective communication to ensure the seamless implementation of each patient's Plan of Care.
Supervision of Field Nurses: Directly supervise field LPNs and RNs, ensuring adherence to state-specific guidelines and best practices.
Support and Guidance: Offer support, guidance, and education to patients, their families, and caregivers to promote optimal physical and emotional well-being.
Mandatory Reporting: Identify and report any observed or suspected patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate authorities as required by law for health professionals.
Qualifications
Action Tennessee Registered Nurse License in good standing (required)
Current BLS CPR card and Current Health Certificate as applicable
A minimum of two years of nursing experience in a Home Health or Acute setting (preferred)
Pediatric Care (preferred)
