Summary: As part of the supply chain team, the primary role of this position is to ensure complete inventory accuracy. Should possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical abilities, and communication skills, including:

Requirements:

  • Manage Cycle Count Program.
  • Determine root cause of inventory discrepancies and develop temporary and permanent countermeasures using cross-functional input and resources.
  • Value-stream map the receiving, put-away, and retrieval inventory process.
  • Participate in developing new inventory location strategy for the plant.
  • Create SOP's for new or improved inventory processes.
  • Train other employees on new processes.
  • Reconcile inventory levels in ERP system.
  • Maintain key metrics and report out on established intervals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or similar role
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, databases, and systems to accurately track and manage inventory.
  • Excellent attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and correcting errors promptly.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Reliable and trustworthy
