Job description

Events hosted for the client organization have continued to increase. Our client is seeking an Event Strategy and Planning Team Specialist to assist with leading on standard events with an opportunity to provide assistance on some of the larger Seminars. With guidance provided by leadership, they will implement design and audience activation/engagement strategies for a defined number of Standard Events.

Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience

  • Experience with event planning and coordination from start to finish

  • Basic Project Management skills

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist on logistical plans for event experiences that align with program and organizational goals by utilizing design principles to coordinate with partners on event concepts, design and engagement strategies

  • Provide assistance and onsite support to Advisors and Senior Advisors for complex Seminars and Signature events

  • Use basic project management skills to complete projects in a timely fashion

  • Implements best practices for meeting agendas/recap, event checklist, SOS, RFPs, event budgets, etc.

  • Operates within internal event databases

  • Responsible for researching efficiencies to support cost savings

  • Assist with gathering post-event data to determine event success based on established benchmarks and metrics

  • Responsible for researching and recommending diverse vendors with finding to be presented to team for feedback and utilization at future events

  • Schedules meetings with partners, committees, and other external stakeholders
