JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

This position is primarily responsible for leading a team of Call Center Representatives while maintaining positive patient relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop NPSC Representatives in excellent patient service operations.
  • Focus on patient requests and provide support to increase patient satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent service and concise communication to patients in a professional manner.
  • Access customer accounts/data quickly and effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Answer and document all inquiries as required.
  • Comply with NPSC policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of NPSC billing system applications and account operations.
  • Provide support to NPSC Representatives as needed.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as requested.
  • Complete NPSC Facility Responsibilities during assigned rotation period; noted below.



QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to successfully pass NPSC medical billing/typing test.
  • 1-2 years' experience in medical billing with an emphasis on extensive client relations preferred.
  • Associate degree in business or applicable field preferred.
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills and abilities.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
