Volt is immediately hiring for Tool Crib Attendant in Jackson, TN.
As a Tool Crib Attendant you will:

  • Maintain accurate records of all tools and equipment, including check-in/check-out logs, inventory levels, and maintenance schedules.
  • Issue tools and equipment to employees as needed, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Inspect tools and equipment regularly for damage or wear, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment meet safety standards and are stored in a safe and organized manner.
  • Assist employees with tool selection and usage, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Generate regular reports on tool usage, inventory levels, and maintenance activities for management review.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tool crib operations and implement best practices.

This is a temporary 2-week opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, tool crib operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. 2nd shift - 4pm - 12:30am
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
